MRYC Fall Series - Harold Shuster Memorial

A beautiful Fall weekend.....clear skies, fog in the fields burning off from the chilly temps of last evening, geese flying overhead. Harold would have liked that. A little more wind perhaps but we managed to get 4 races in.

Saturday was particularly patchy with breeze and we were only able to complete a short 2 leg course. Saturday evening we were treated to raw oysters and Cajun treats on Isabels Dock bar. A karoke DJ came a little later and there was dancing to be done!

Sunday looked more of the same breezes and the RC held us in (or was it the other way around??) until the breeze was steady enough to get a race off. Frank DeBord (PRO) spoke with his friends on the wind committee and managed to rustle up enough breeze to pull off 3 races the last of which was 5 legs!
