North American Championship
The North
American Championship will be November 14-19 in Miami,
Florida, USA. The entry
list shows 84 boats from 23 countries..
2007 ISCYRA Championships
The list
of 2007 championships can be found on the fixture list page
of the website calendar. In March are both the South
American (Mar del Plata, Argentina) and Western
Hemisphere (Tampa, Florida, USA) Championships, followed in April
by the Eastern
Hemispheres in El Arenal Mallorca, Spain.

Finland, the Season
Final-Fin GP7 was won
by Joni Leeve and Nino Hallikainen.
In Germany, the West-Ost-Preis
was won by Lars Kiewning and Ulrich Seeberger, At the Senatspreis
in Berlin, Felix Gold and Mark Beyer took first place,
In
France, the winners of La
Coupe de President on Lake Annecy were Michel Dreyfus and
Clement Brillaud. Champions
of the Ile de France fleet are Romain Andrieux and Herve
Lenglart and in Nice, Jacques Puissegur/Charton won Ferrarri's
Express. In Paris, Marko Hasche and Philip Behn came from Hamburg to win the 26th Trophee Pinatel.
In Switzerland, Lorenz Zimmermann and Sandro Bolton won the Thunersee Herbstpreis and Flavio Marazzi and Michael Herrmann won the Ruf Rasta Cup. On the Hallwilersee, the 50th birthday of the Halse fleet was celebrated with 32 boats competing in the Sigi Meier Memorial, won by Martin Ingold and Beat Stegmeier.
In Italy, Diego Negri won the 2006
Italian Championship sailed on the Gulf of Naples, Adriano
Mari and Filippo Tofani won
the Trofeo
dei Santi and Roberto Righi and Davide Mugnaini won the Trofeo Burlamaco, both sailed at Viareggio. The Trofeo
Best Wind on Lake Garda was won by Hans Spitzauer and
Christian Nehammer.
On Lake Loosdrecht in the
Netherlands, the Boerenkoolcup
winners were Jan Willem Kok and Gerard Vd Krogt,

In the US Northeast, the Larchmont, Connecticut Columbus Day Regatta winners were Fotis Boliakis and Jerry Ulbricht. The Nash Trophy (awarded to the top finisher at three Long Island Sound fall regattas) went to Guy Gurney.
On the Chesapeake Bay of the Mid-Atlantic
Coast, Mark Oberg won the Shuster Regatta/Green Star Championship. In Annapolis, John Manderson and Paul Amlong won the Etchells/Star Fall Regatta.
In Los Angeles, California the USA Star Pre-Olympic Trial was won by George Szabo and Mark Strube. Video interviews with the compeitiors were done by Scuttlebutt.
