66 boats from 24 countries took part in the World Championship on San
Francisco Bay at St. Francis Yacht Club, USA. The 2006 World Champions
are Hamish Pepper and Carl Williams. Read the reports

District Championship Results
The 9th
District Championship, sailed at Marseille, France, was won
by Kurt and Markus Scheidegger. The 21st
District Championship, sailed at Lake Dillon, Colorado, USA
was won by Tim Seeling.
September European Results
In
Scandinavia, the Swedish Grand Prix Series was completed. Fredrik
Ljungkvist and Daniel Alm won the GP5
Bålsta. and the
SSS
Höstregatta - SWE GP6 while Niklas Edler/Anders
Olsson won the last regatta of the series, the Oktoberpokalen
- SWE GP7. The overall winners of the 2006 Series are
Ljungkvist and Alm, with Eric Dahlén/Olle Bergqvist second
and Bo-Staffan Andersson/Michael Broad in third. In Finland
- Christian Öller won the Wednesday
autumn series
In Germany the Kronprinz-Rupprecht
v. Bayern Preis was won by Thomas Schiffer and Niels
Hentschel, At the 45th
Oktoberfest on the Ammersee, Lorenz Zimmerman and Tobias
Steffens took first place, The Starfinale
winners were Andreas Denk and Thomas Mueller and the Commodore
Lüer Preis had Frank Tusch and Sven Winkelmann first
overall.
In Italy, Luca Modena and Michele Marchesini won
the 40th
Trofeo dell' Amiciza., At Viareggio, the
Campionato D'Autunno 2006 series was won by Massimilian
Antongiovanni and Paolo Saccenti
In the Netherlands the Open
Dutch Champions are Alwim van Daelen and Peter Peet, and in
France, Marc Antoine Trossat and Alain Daouphars won the last race of
the season on Lake Annecy, Le

North American Results
In the US Northeast, Mark
Passmore and Larry Scott won the Lake
George Open, Rick Burgess Jr. and Sr. won the FLASIR
and Hans Fogh and Steven Cutting took the Chili
Regatta. A bit further south near Long Island Sound, Peter
Bromby and Bill McNiven won the Bedford
Pitcher, John MacCausland and Bob Schofield won the Nutmeg
Regatta (MacCausland's 8th win of this regatta) and Thierry
de la Villehuchet won the MID
Fleet Championship which was sailed over three summer holiday
weekends.
On the Chesapeake Bay of the Mid-Atlantic
Coast John Vanderhoff and Adam Dollezal won the 55th
Fall Wind Up.
In the American midwest, Tom Londrigan Jr. and
Chris Wallner won the 4th
District Fall Finale and Jeff Schaefer/Rob Walker won the J.
Holt Thomas Memorial / 2006 4th District Green Star Championship
with Patrick Gudat/Roger Huber becoming the 2006 Green Star Champions
In California, the Harris
Series at California YC, Los Angeles was won by Mike Hanna
and Crystal Peters. Up the coast in San Francisco, Mark Mendelblatt and
Mark Strube won the
Pacific
Coast Championships and Iain Percy and Steve Mitchell took
the (pre-Worlds) Calvin
Paige regatta.
Canada
In Vancouver, Foss Miller and Greg Newhall won the English
Bay Labor Day Classic and Craig Wilshire and Hansen were
first at the English
Bay Fleet Championship. In
Victoria, Alex Fox and Dunnery Best won the Vancouver
Island Star Fall Cup.

Grand Prix Luis Cerrato and the Parma
Cup.
