Election Year

2017 marks changes in officer terms.  Nominating forms will be sent later in the year, but it's a good time to begin to think about qualified people who may want to contribute to the Star Class.

Dues Renewal

Dues are now delinquent after March 1 for 2017.  Please renew here

Star Class Ranking

All Star Class sailors will be entered into a new ranking system (skipper and crew). Both skipper and crew must be current members to be ranked. Pay Dues link   The rankings will cover the following fixtures:  all gold, silver, blue and green Star regattas as well as a few other notable events.  Look for more information to come. The season will begin January 1 and end December 31 each year.

Vintage Gold Cup

Wood boat world championship

 In the spirit of "Honoring the Past, Leading the Future"' the Gull Lake Star Fleet will host the Inaugural Vintage Gold Cup. This is a world championship for all Star boats built of wood. We will have two different classes represented. First is the "vintage" classification. Any Star restored to its original set up with wood mast and boom will sail in this class. Second is the "Modern" classification. Modern will be for any wood Star boat that has been restored with modern aluminum mast and boom, hiking straps etc. these boats are ready to race.
