Jean-Gabriel Charton used to be the regular crew for fifteen years of Jacques Puisségur. After the passing away of Jacques his son Jean-François Puisségur bought #8375 named Asteria 5. He just sold it and decided to associate with Jean Gab on her Lillia #8266 in order to write a knew story of this great friendship Puisségur/Charton. That is the reason why they clearly decided to rename their new boat “Asteria 6” as a tribute to Jacques !
On sunday 15th of July a regatta was scheduled to celebrate the baptism of the new boat. 3 races was expected with a special target of an early harbor come back in order to be able to follow the final of the soccer world cup France vs Croatia.
It is Jean-Nicolas Bondaletoff and his crew Ludivine Lammens who win the regatta on the last downwind leg in a very light air conditions (5 knots from South). Jean-Gab and Jeff are 2nd and another Asteria’s boat #4 closed the podium with Philippe Ergand and Sebastien Fillaut.
At the end of the regatta Jean-Gab and Jeff offered a chips and beer party and were on time to celebrate the victory of the french team at the Mondial !
