JavaScore
is the preferred program for scoring all Star Class events, locally
and internationally. It is a sailboat regatta scoring program that
runs on Windows, Unix/Linux, and Macintosh computers, among others.
This website is set up to accept JavaScore files directly which
eliminates the retyping of race results. Districts and Fleets are
encouraged to use this program which will provide, over time, a
web-based historical database of results for the Star Class.
Go to http://www.gromurph.org/javascore/
for information on the program Please use the JavaScore version 4.0.2. which is downloadable at this link (newer versions are not yet compatible with the Star Class results). If you have problems with the installation, instructions
or implementation, contact webmaster@starchampionships.org.
Information on how to use the program when posting results to this
website are on the page /introduction.htm.
The Star Class web site can not yet support the use of subdivisions
in the program, so don't use those when setting up a regatta..
JavaScore is an "open source code" program developed by
Sandy Grosvenor.
