Star Class Announcements

The 2005 Star World Championship starts Feb. 8 in Buenos Aires with 62 entries from 18 countries.

In Florida, the Bacardi Cup is from March 6 to 11. The Western Hemisphere Championship is in Nassau, Bahamas April 5 to 9. Information on the entry form, NOR, and US Customs forms is available. Deadline for entry is March 16.

In Argentina, Lars Grael and Marco Lagoa won the South American Championship sailed in Buenos Aires.

In Miami, USA, Andy Beadsworth/David Carr won the Levin Memorial followed by Augie Diaz/Bob Schofield winning the Biscayne Trophy. Andy Horton and Brad Nichol took first from a large international fleet at the Rolex Miami Olympic Classes Regatta.

In Victoria, Canada, Jeff Eckard and Paul Callan swept the Vancouver Island Winter Series.
