Star Class Announcements

Many thanks to the 200 Star Class members who have filled out and submitted the survey on class communications. However, there are 3000 members of the class and for a good overview of members' viewpoints, many more responses are needed. If you have not filled out the survey, please do so. A high percentage of responses so far have been from North America, which makes up only 30% of the membership. More European, South American and Australian responses are needed. The survey focuses on communications, events, and understanding the districts' and fleets' directions and interests.

The champions of the Eastern Hemisphere for 2005 are Robert Stanjek & Markus Koy, from Berlin and Hamburg, after four races were completed on Lake Thun in Switzerland.

Coming up: Kiel Week is from June 18th to the 26th (entry list) and the European Championship is in Varberg, Sweden on August 5-12. The North American Championship is at Marina del Rey, California on August 16-21.
