In Florida USA, the Star winter sailing season ends with the Bacardi Cup Mar. 6-12 and the US Olympic Trials Mar. 18-28.
The European Championship is March 26-31 in Barcelona, Spain. The Spring Championship of the Western Hemisphere takes place Apr. 12-18 in New Orleans, USA, and the 2004 World Championship will be April 23-May 1 in Gaeta, Italy.
The Allianz Suisse Star Grand Prix 2004 series has been announced with the first race April 17-18.
Reports Torben Grael and Marcelo Ferreira won the 2004 South American Championship in Rio de Janeiro, and competitor Manuel Bunge provides a report. Joe Bainton and Peter Bromby were the first boat in the Zag Cup Masters Regatta in Miami. The top exalted grand master, Harry Walker, reports on the two races.
