In the USA, in Florida, the Zag Masters Regatta was won by John Dane Sr/John Dane Jr. Kris Wilson and Ben Franzen were the top boat at the Fort Myers Royal Palm Regatta. In California, Erik Lidecis won the Southern California Yachting Association's Midwinter regatta.
