Day 1 Report Eleven Boats on the starting line including the Top Argie teams were ready for two "blowing brain Regattas". Winds were shifty and tricky coming from WSW 5/6Kn and huge tide from the north. The team Labandeira/Dellatorre took the first bullet flying all over the course followed by Alejandro Chometowski and the new comers from th J24 Alejo Rigoni and Gustavo Gonzalez. Race two was much more difficult with wind speed going down dramatically causing various wind spots only being nailed by the experts like Zanetti/ Engelhard. Day 2 Report 12.35pm the RC gives the starting signal. NE 12/15 winds and a perfect Star sailing conditions. Alejo Rigoni and Gustavo Gonzalez were on top since the start demostrating all their heavy fleet experience around the course scoring 1st and 2nd y the day races. Julio Labandeira and Enrique Dellatorre were 2nd and 1st and Zanetti Engelhard 3rd and 3rd. Day 3 Report Winds from NE 12Kn, Great sailing conditions for the Stars. We shared the race course with J24 - Soling - 29er and two other local classes so we had plenty of traffic making the races much more difficult... The first race was perfectly nailed by Sobstad Veteran Julio Labandeira followed by the Calegari Family. 2nd race was entirelly about Rigoni and Gonzalez taking the lead from the start and again followed by the Calegari`s. Day 4 WNW 10/14Kn ultra shifty!! So many boats in the same course made it impossible for the RC to make change in it... Labandeira, Rigoni were fighting for the 1st place, finally Julio`s experience in Olivos waters ruled. Zanetti really confourtable in the 3rd and the Calegari`s raising from the ashes trying to reach Zanetti`s score. |
