2009 Jr. Western Hemisphere Championship

The 2009 Junior Western Hemisphere Championship was held on Lake Sunapee, New Hampshire, USA with nine boats competing. Races one and two were sailed in a perfect Star wind of 8 to 10 knots with the boats spread across the lake and the lead constantly changing until the Hornos team took over for the win. Race two was exciting as Team Beigel went hard right and rounded the weather mark with a commanding lead. Positions changed on the downwind as Team Hornos passed for another win. Race three was in lighter air and the Dheins lead at every mark. Team Hornos answered back in race four.

Two races were started on the last day but had to be abandoned for lack of wind.
