| Report by Alain Daouphars: This year, 23 Stars from France and Geneva raced during three days (May 1,2,3). The weather was sunny ; but for the two first days a strong northwest wind was blowing over 20 knots with some tricky gusts. Unfortunately two masts were broken and a third one was saved by Marc Trossat and Crew Vincent Nallet. Finally 6 races were performed. Berenguier Dad and Son beating Brillaud Son and dad at the end. Francis Mercier and Christophe Bouvet made third. Let us underline the performance of Marc Lavigne Delville and Yann Aussedat sailing their newly restaured wooden boats to the end in spite of the tough conditions. |
