2010 EB October Series

The 2010 sailing season for the English Bay Fleet ended in glorious fashion last weekend. Two days of beautiful, warm (for the time of year) sunshine with steady Westerly winds of 5 to 12 knots. Congratulations to Bruce Long and his crew Paul who sailed strong all weekend to win our final regatta. Phil Lockwood placed second followed very closely by Larry Warshawski in third. Special mention to Bill Burgess who turns 80 next week. He sailed strong all weekend to finish fourth. We can all hope to be as active as he is when we get to be that age. Way to go Bill!
