| The 2011 LSYC One-Design Regatta was sailed on Lake Erie off Lorain, Ohio, under beautiful sunny skies and gradually increasing winds from from the NNE that went from about 6 to 10 knots on Saturday. All four scheduled races were held, with Ray Peters/Barry Jensen holding a slim lead at the end of the day. Sunday started out with a SW breeze of 5 or 6 knots, but died to near nothing. Thad Brej/Lynn Ensinger held off Jim Peters/Any Wilson to win the race and the regatta. The scheduled 6th race had to be cancelled. As you can see when you view the results, the racing at Lorain Star regattas is nearly always very competitive. |
