Lake Sunapee provided a really great week-end of sailing.Friday night we were all invited to the home of John and Donna Chiarella for a great bbq. Saturday started with little to no wind but by noon it started to fill in from the south and the race committee took full advantage and got us going very quickly. But as we all know the weather man is still in control. Half way up the second beat of course three thunder and lighting started in the distance so Robin Cook race committee chairwoman opted to shorten and get us off the water. A wise discussion in my humble opinion.

Saturday evening featured a wonderful cocktail party at the club, followed by a fantastic steak dinner. Sunday arrived with a eight to twelve breeze from the south, (perfect for Lake Sunapee) and Robin and her crew were right on station to get us three really nice races. In the end it was the team of MacCausland/Burgess winning.
