| Nine boats took place in the 4 regattas sailed at the Campeonato San Isidro Labrador. Races were held perfectly by the Race Comitee, despite not many boats were at the starting line, because some of the usual sailors where commited to other events. Saturday we sailed with a 10 knots NE wind, with very shifty and plenty of pressure changes along all the course, not very usual conditions here in Buenos Aires. Warburg/Carissimi raced flawless and consistently in a very challenging day wining the first race of the day. Longarella brothers had a deserved second place and Borgstrom/Engelhard reached the third place fighting a little for it. For the second race, wind veered to SE increasing its force, so the course was very favored on the right side. Again Warburg/Carissimi won the race, and the podium was completed with the same couples of the first race. Sunday morning we started with 15 knots from the NE, not so shifty. Borgstrom/Engelhard won both races, and Warburg/Carissimi in second place in both races won a very well raced championship. Notably, despite being a little longer than usual races, the fleet was very compact. This speaks of the homogeneous and competitive that is getting the class. |
