The ZOB EL BAHR regatta (Giorgi’s Cup) took place in tNice (French Riviera) on Sunday 12th april. Thanks to summer conditions, 5 races were held in a light East wind of 5 knts. Jean-Gabriel Charton helmed is former boat 7624 but the result remained the same ! The victory was clearly established when he was forced to retire on the last race after a crash with small damages. In second position the Puissegur brothers have had 2 races of hope, before surrender with an OCS on the last race! Michael Willis took 3rd place on the podium. This regatta was the last training before the French Open Championship in the Annecy Lake (1st, 2nd & 3rd of May) where 30 boats are expected. Xavier Rohart will be there to defend his title.
