9th District Championship - 62nd Star Trophy Urnersee SSC Act 4

 
The final day of the District Championship offered again excellent Uri-thermals. With two race wins Philipp Rotermund/Nils Holweg were able to move up to No. 1, as Urs Hunkeler/Enrico De Maria were beaten on points. In 3rd followed Jean-Pascal Chatagny /Serge Pulfer.

On the final day the race director was Martin Koller, substituting, as a familial occasion prevented Luc Monin from attending. The first two teams of local Star Fleet LUV were separated by only just 2 points. Philipp Rotermund / Nils Holweg / GER (Starfleet LUV) had two race wins and the same points on the leading Urs Hunkeler / Enrico De Maria SUI (Starfleet LUV) and won the 9th District Championship 2016. Silver gwent to Urs Hunkeler/Enrico De Maria SUI.

For the 62th Urnersee Trophy (runs from Saturday and Sunday) the same teams were ranked 1st and 2nd with 3rd going to Hans Stoeckli/Urs Spahr, in front of Christoph Gautschi/Gautschi Tina.
