2016 Lorain One Design Regatta

The regatta was held on the waters of Lake Erie off Lorain, Ohio. The breeze was gusting above 15 knots at the start of the first race, but settled back to a very pleasant 12 to 15 knots for the remainder of the racing. Four races were completed, with the worst race score discarded. The team of Ray Peters/Barry Jensen won the last two races to finish in a tie with the father/son team of Mike and Vitalli Pinter. The two firsts gave Ray and Barry the edge to break the tie, and get their names on the beautiful newly re-purposed perpetual trophy.
