Santa Barbara Yacht Club once again did an excellent job hosting the Stars for the Sir Thomas Lipton Cup Regatta! The venue and tradition of this event is second to none, plus this time we were blessed with steady winds of 10-15 knots! 8 lucky Star teams made the annual pilgrimage to SBYC, who once again went above and beyond to accommodate us. Providing all of our needs, including putting us up on members yachts in the marina! The Race committee ran 7 great races in pretty heavy conditions without a hitch. While a few teams suffered from breakdowns the challenging conditions provided for some great racing for all.
