The NYS's where held this weekend on beautiful Seneca Lake, New York. Our PRO Tom White looked at the wind forecast and opted to sail the fleet 5 races on Saturday in a 10 to 18 mph north westerly wind.

I can tell you there were a bunch of very tired sailors returning to the dock that afternoon. Rob Eberling's rum punch and the open beer keg softened a lot of the pain. As is the tradition the fleet was treated to a cook your own steak, along with Jan Burgess salt potatoes, salad and brownies.

The fleet arrived at the club ready to sail Sunday morning but not a breath of wind, (always hate it when the PRO is right). So in the end it was Arthur and Josh 1st, Brian and Cam 2nd, with Will and Brian 3rd.

Looking forward to 2017 as the Seneca Lake fleet will be combining the New York States and the 12th District Championship together.
