2016 United Ukraine Fleet Open Championship

On the Kiev Sea September 23-25 was held the United Ukraine Fleet Open Championship. Six yachts participated, including one yacht that took part in the Olympic Games of 1972 - Lippincott #5450.

West wind 10-15 knots on Friday and North wind 8-16 knots on Sunday allowed 6 races. Uncompromising struggle on the course and sports excitement accompanied the participants. We are pleased that the Star class in Ukraine, subjected to military aggression, is evolving and we remain part of the civilized world. EUkr Fleet Commandor, Sergii Shevchenko
