Nash Trophy

The Nash Trophy is awarded to the skipper with the lowest number of total points for the three Long Island Sound Fall regattas. These regattas are the Bedford Pitcher, the Nutmeg Regatta and the Larchmont Columbus Day Regatta. Three boats competed in all three regattas. This year’s winner of the Nash Trophy is Guy Gurney.

As a point of interest, 9 other boats sailed in two of the three regattas. Because of the World’s taking place at the same time as the Larchmont Columbus Day regatta, at least two of these boats would have also sailed all three regattas were it not for their competing in the World’s.
