District 1 Report: Kevin Elterman The 64th running of the Nutmeg Regatta hosted by the Milford Yacht Club in Milford, CT was honored to host 12 incredibly devoted Star Sailors. Light shifty winds greeted us on day one so much so that 3 competators couldn't get in under the time limit. The creative race committee was still able to get in 3 races on the day. A big THANK YOU goes out to Carol Gracco assisted by Darlene Elterman for hosting the best Saturday evening event in the 64 years of the event. If you weren't there, lets just say...this one gets logged as "how-to"! Day 2: Light again but from a reasonably steady direction. Two races, no problem. Congratulations to this years champions. Bill Watson and Roger Sharp. Grand Master Thorny Cook and Master Lou Roberts.
