Hot competition, perfect sailing conditions and one hell of a venue… all in an Olympic year! That’s what makes the Sail Melbourne International Regatta the best sailing around next January 2004.

The Sail Melbourne Olympic & Invited Classes Regatta is the only annual ISAF Grade 1 event in the Southern Hemisphere and will be used by the Australian Yachting Federation as the final selection trials for the 2004 Australian Olympic Sailing Team. Held on Port Phillip Bay’s 2,000 sq kilometres of deep open water with regular sea breezes averaging 15 knots, water temperature of 20C and daily air temperature between 25C and 30C, it is the best place to sail in Australia.

The Sail Melbourne Management team understands the needs of International sailors wanting to compete in an overseas event and can provide support towards freight, and short term insurance cover, help with charter/coach boats and plenty of accommodation options - making it easier for you to take part in the best sailing regatta in Australia.
