Sailed at Fraglia della Riva - Riva del Garda, Italy.

Day 1 - Today the Expert Olympic Garda started, an important round of international sailing, restricted to the Olympic classes taking part in the Beijing Olympics 2008. The day did not see the sun shine and the wind waited until 1 pm before showing up and racing could start. More than 300 boats are taking part from 43 countries near Trentino Garda and Verona on 4 courses from Fraglia Vela Riva and Malcesine.

Day 2 - Due to bad weather and lack of wind today, the second day of the Olympic Garda, was not able to to start the more than 300 craft from 43 different nations participating.

Day 3 - Today was also not favorable for the seventh edition dell'Expert Olympic Garda. The rain, cold and the complete lack of wind kept the racers from the water until early afternoon. Two valid races were completed for the Stars on the Verona course. In the Star class team of Von Linde-Steffens is first closely followed by the brothers Fornaro in second.

Day 4 - Today the weather was more favorable. The wind, coming from the north, although inconsistent and with a few gusts, came to near 15 knots. In the Star class in first are the Germans Schlonski-Kleen followed by Von Linde-Steffens and brothers Fornaro in third.

Day 5 - The Expert Olympic Garda, concluded with the 7th race - the "Medal” Race The "Medal Race" is the new formula of the ISAF to make more spectacular the fight for the podium and is the final race reserved for the top ten winners of each class.

Points awarded are two for first, four for second, six for third and so on (penalties are also duplicated). From the 11th place on everything remains unchanged with the score acquired earlier from the 1st to 6th races. The day was cold and cloudy but thanks to the wind which came from the south at 5 meters/sec. racing was concluded.
