Bedford Pitcher

Twenty boats from 8 fleets in the tri-district area came together for this year’s Bedford Pitcher. The winds on Saturday were light and fluky and two fairly short races were run.

Will Swigart / Carroll Beek seemed to have the knack of knowing where to be on the race course and racked up a 2nd and a 1st. On Sunday the wind was a bit stronger and more consistent. John Vanderhoff / Rowan Perkins found the right way to go to win the race.

Jake Fiumara / Joe Chambers put together the best series of races and won the regatta. Tie on points for second place were Swigart / Beek and Vanderhoff / Perkins, with the tie-breaker going to Swigert / Beek.
