Attersee Fleet Championship

The Fleet championship of the Attersee-Fleet was held on July 9th to 10th at the Union Yacht Club Attersee. The picture shows some of the members of the Attersee-Fleet.

This year we tried to have very young sailors in the Star class. Four boats were sailed with young sailors.

Competing were Thomas Stelzl with his 12 years old son Maxi, Michael Felzmann with his son Florian, 13 years old, Michael Farthofer with his doughter Lisa, 14 years old, and Stefan Deschka with my boat and my son Martin who is 13 years old. The kids had much fun with Starboat-sailing. They usually sail Optimists, but in a few years...who knows.

We sailed 3 very nice races on Saturday with 8 to 12 knots wind from east to north. And in the evening we had a great party for all Star sailors.
