English Bay Spring Series 2006

The Spring Series is the start of the Star sailing season in English Bay. Six Stars were on the water on Saturday with only two races completed; the first one in an 8 knot westerly that died by the end of the race. After a postponement of a couple hours, a light and very shifty easterly filled in and the second race ended the cloudy day. Sunday saw rain and a 6-10 knot easterly with good sailing and 4 races. At the end of the weekend, Klee Wyck won the Watt Sheild.
