Fantastic Easter weekend at the Lake of Thun
Friday the race committee did its best to start two races in these tricky conditions. We started the first race in the typical thermal conditions of the lake. But during the race the wind dropped and changed 180 degrees, so that we had a beat to the leeward mark. Due to this wind shift we lost 5 boats and finished 6th, Kurt and Markus Scheidegger won the first race. The next race we sailed in about 2 to 4 knots of wind. After a good start we rounded the first mark in second position. On the downwind we caught a good breeze on the right and passed the leading boat. We maintained our lead until the finish.

Saturday we had to wait 3 hours for the wind, but then the thermal breeze came in, so that we could sail 3 great races in fantastic conditions. We won the first and the third race of the day. In the second race we crossed the line in first position as well but unfortunately we were over early at the start.

After 5 race we where one point behind the leaders Kurt and Markus. To win the ski yachting we had to beat Markus and Kurt on the ski slopes on Sunday.

On Sunday we again had beautiful warm weather even in 2500 meters. At 12 o_
