Star Class Honoring the Past, Leading the Future
On the heels of our excellent Pre-Season Clinic, the Vancouver Island Fleet participated in the annual THRASH regatta hosted at the Royal Victoria Yacht CLub. THRASH stands for Thanks Heaven Racing and Spring are Here and that rang true all weekend - great wind and great weather. A couple of the out of town boats stayed over after the clinic and this was appreciated by the VI Fleet. After a tight weekend of racing, especially between the top 2 boats, the Team of Fox and Best came out on top by one point followed Bob Britten and our favorite neighbor to the South Foss Miller. The VI Fleet welcomes our newest member Chris Dudenas to the group who has shown great speed and smarts around the course.
