During March 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th the
Argentine
Championship took place, hosted by the
traditional Club
Nautico Olivos. The end of summer gave the fleet
perfect
conditions for sailing, with light winds
predominantly
from NE during the first weekend.
The four top teams ran into the second weekend
almost
tied, but in the two races held on saturday,
Borgstrom
and Engelhard sailed consistently to finish the
day
first in the championship. On sunday the only
race of
the day started with gusts of 15 knots, which
died
rapidly forcing the RC to cancel the race, and
crowning
Borgstrom/Engelhard as the 2014 Argentine
Champions.
