Star Class Honoring the Past, Leading the Future
Instituted by the U.S.V.I. Executive Council on the 20th of March 1960, as perpetual challenge, the Tito Nordio’s Cup for the Star Class was assigned to the Yacht Club Adriaco of Trieste in memory of his champion. Tito Nordio took part to the Olympic Regatta in the Dinghy Class 12’ S.I. in 1928 where he came sixth. He won the I.Y.R.U. European Championship in 1935 and the European Star Championship in 1947.
