Star Class Honoring the Past, Leading the Future
Another great regatta in the books. This year’s 87th annual Miller Series held by the Chesapeake Bay star fleet and Gibson Island Yacht Squadron saw excellent racing and even better air.
Saturday graced us with a 15-20 knot Southerly that held steady with very little oscillation and 3 points separating the top 3 boats.
Sunday again had great breeze of around 15 knots out of the south again and Aaron Serinis had the speed. With a 4,1,1 the first day Aaron finished with 1,1 to take the regatta with 4 points.
Alan Campbell and Ned Foster found some speed through the event taking second with 10 points and Elliot Oldak sailing with Andy Noel took third with 13.
