62. Oktoberfestregatta organized by Andechs fleet at the Herrschinger Segelclub, lake Ammersee

21 star sailors from 3 nations had very sportive race days with challenging weather conditions and nice barbecues in the evenings.
The quality of the organization onshore and offshore at was much appreciated, lead by race committee head Michael Marcour , a former starboat olympic silver medalist, and team.
On the first regatta day four exciting races could be finished, with 7 to 15 knots of partly gusty winds and some rain showers.
On the second race day a wonderful medium wind race could be finished, with sunny consitions and 7-10 knots wind.
Hubert Merkelbach and Markus Koy won the series with four race wins, followed by czech crew Anrew Lawson and Zbynek Zander , and Reinhardt Schmid with Lena Gundlage.
AND and HSC are ooking forward the 2025 Oktoberfestregatta with a great starboat fleet.
