Star Class Honoring the Past, Leading the Future
8 boats attended two days of great racing. Our first day was blessed with nice spring sunny weather with winds in the teens and across the flat waters of English Bay. The last day of racing was marked by a classic Pacific Northwest “Junuary” day - chilly, drizzly, and with barely a whisper of wind. In all the RVYC RC managed to marshal 5 races over the weekend.
• First place was clinched by the dynamic duo, Hunter Lowden and Joel Ross, sailing on 8271.
• Second place was secured by the formidable team of Andrew Allen and James McDonald, on 8241.
• And the third place honors went to the seasoned sailors, Al Cullen and Dave Martin, on 8518.
