In Split Croatia the Eastern Hemisphere Championship was won by Robert Scheidt and Bruno Prada. This was followed the next week by the European Championship at Lake Balaton, Hungary, won by Robert Stanjek and Markus Koy.
In Germany, the Forde Cup / Beate Uhse Gedachtnispreis was won by Philipp Rotermund and Tom Huber, the Casino Cup was taken by Mark Raimondo and Alexander Bayer, Hans Spitzauer and Christian Nehammer won the Hammond Perkin Regatta on the Bodensee, and.Kieler Woche winners, Fredrik Loof and Anders Ekstrom, narrowly beat Scheidt/Prada in the last race.
In Switzerland, the Sommer Regatta Steckborn - Bernina Cup winners were Klaus Kappes and Juerg Rutz.
In Italy at Viareggina, Diego Negri and Luigi Viale won the Trofeo Emilio Benetti with the Campionato d'Estate winners being Alessandro Lanfranchi / Alessandro Cinquini. The winners of the Trofeo Danilo Folli at Mandello del Lario were Cicio Canali and Francesco Lattuada.

In Finland, Joni Leeve and Asko Salminen won the Fin GP3 - Anniversary Regatta. And in Sweden, the GPII - Pelle Geddes Cup was won by Erik Dahlen.
At Nice, France, the Minimee Smile was won by Julia and Graham Bailey with the Thor Cup won by Jacques Puissegur and Jean Gabriel Charton, completing their 2007-2008 sailing season.
In the USA on the east coast, the Tomahawk Regatta in New Jersey was won by Peter Bromby and Brian Murphy, and the Riverton Governor's Cup was taken by Mark and Andy Oberg. The Arms White Trophy,
sailed on Long Island Sound, was won by Peter McChesney and Kip
Gardner. Up north in Canada, Brain Cramer and Taj Bjorn won the Montreal Open. At the Royal Canadian Open, the winners were Amanda and Tony Karahanas.
In the USA Midwest. Tom Londrigan and Stewart Hall won the 4th District Championship and on the west coast in California, .Andy MacDonald, sailing with Brian Fatih, won the Rollins Bowl in San Diego and then went on to win the Baxter Bowl with Darrell Hiatt as crew.
