Stars in the Netherlands in the 1930s
These pictures were taken by members of the Royal Yacht Club Loosdrecht (Netherlands) in the 1930s. In those days the club members were enthusiastic and good star boat sailors, such as Olympics 1936 bronze medal helmsman Adrian (Bob) L.J. Maas and crew Willem de Vries Lentsch and Maas' crew at the 1948 Olympics in Torquay (bronze medal) Edward Stutterheim. Some of the photos were taken during the Kiel Europeans, others during the Kiel Olympics in 1936.
