Star Class Honoring the Past, Leading the Future
Hello All Star Sailors!
The 2024-2025 Winter Star Series is around the corner. I am sure many of you are looking forward to the upcoming season in anticipation for yet another packed summer of championship racing culminating in beautiful Split, Croatia for the World Championships!
With that, the SEA Program is happy to share that we will have 6 boats available for charter during the winter season, starting with the District 20 Championships November 9th-10th, then the Commodores Cup December 7th-8th.
We will begin accepting applications for individual or multiple events immediately. The deadline for each event is 8 weeks prior to the event. The SEA Program Committee will respond to each of you with acceptance or rejection at least 6 weeks prior to the event.
We also want to remind everyone that the SEA Program is intended for all individuals, this is not a U30 exclusive endeavor. If you are from outside the US and would like to participate please do not hesitate to fill out either of the forms (Interest or application forms) on the Class website.
Our mission with these charters is threefold:
To give access to experienced sailors who may be new to the class.
Provide current Star sailors access that they would not otherwise be able to afford while they look to graduate into ownership on their own over the course of a season.
Provide experienced sailors from abroad the opportunity to race in the Class without the need to ship their boat around the world.
