Acting upon the many suggestions that were voiced and shared during the November Town Hall, the leadership team is working on the following initiatives:
- Building a How-To video library to help strengthen skills of sailors. If you have any videos you’d like to share, please send to: asif.aero12@gmail.com
- Marketing Task Force: this is currently being compiled with the assistance of a marketing professional (Star sailor) offering guidance. If you are interested in being a member, please contact the Star Class office
- Clinics: Round Tables will be held 2 nights before the Bacardi Cup from 5-6pm at CRYC with world champions. An additional Clinic may be held on the Wednesday prior to the Masters/Midwinters.
- Zoom clinics on key subject matters (crewing, rigging, race strategy) will be offered in the coming winter months.
- Fleet Building:.
- Fraternity: it was heard loud and clear that the membership wants to build fraternity by everyone reaching out to fellow sailors and potential new members to strengthen fleets. We relay upon each other to encourage this.
- Class leadership is considering reinstatement of qualifiers for Worlds as support for fleet building
- Collect annual dues back at the Fleet level. Information will be send to fleet officers in their Annual Fleet Kits next month.
