ISCYRA is happy to announce the addition of Jolanda Lene Engel to the Technical Advisory Board. Jolanda represents the Kieler Fleet and comes to the TAB with experience in the ship building industry? and a shipbuilding engineering bachelors degress. She currently works for Flensburger Schiffbau Gesellschaft where they construct Roro-ships.
Jolanda’s sailing career includes the 420, Optimist and most recently she competed in the 2021 Star Worlds as a skipper with her husband Christopher Engel as crew where they finished in the top 30. Jolanda is looking forward to contributing to the TAB with her expertise.
The primary function of the TAB is to clarify, interpret and advise the membership and the builders and suppliers on questions pertaining to the plans, Specification and the Measurement Rules. It may also conduct special studies as designated by the IGC. The TAB shall establish and maintain the measurement standards, forms and techniques and ensure an appropriate measurement procedure.
